Jason Vincent MacKay, 47, of West Covina, California, tragically and prematurely, died on October 22, 2022. His manner of death was ruled undetermined. He struggled with mental health issues toward the end of his life, and unfortunately, he lost the battle with the demons that plagued him. We know that he is now free from the torments of his mind, and in eternal peace & love with both his earthly father, Peter Vincent MacKay, and our Heavenly Father, in Heaven above. Jason was a loving & caring son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, lover, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his adoring father, Peter Vincent MacKay. He is survived by his loving mother, Sofia MacKay, his sister, Christine Ashbaugh, Brother-in-Law, Chet Ashbaugh, & his brother, Matthew MacKay. He also leaves behind his nephews, Christopher & Benjamin Ashbaugh, & his many aunts and uncles: Irma & Walter Rios; Frances & Tim Weber; Gayle Keener; & Roberto & Ramona Doumer; along with his many cousins: Jessica Rios; Walter Andrew Rios; Lisa Marie Weber; Timothy Weber; Rebbecca Myatt; Roberto Doumer, Jr., & Marco Doumer. Jason graduated Bishop Amat High School in 1992, and later pursued a career as an electrician. He went on to become an accomplished, Master Electrician, working for many different companies and projects throughout California. Jason had a kind soul and was the type of person to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was an avid lover of golf and would be there in a heartbeat if you needed him. He loved his two dogs, Coco & Rusty, and always showered them with so much love. We love you, Jason, and know your spirit is with God, free from the pain and suffering you endured.
